Stardust and Fate Named Finalist in Two 2008 Midwest Book Awards

Stardust and Fate competes in two categories in the 2008 Midwest Book Awards! The book is a finalist in two categories: Travel and Cover Design. Winners will be announced May 14 at a ceremony at the Minnesota Humanities Commission in St. Paul. The awards are sponsored by the Midwest Independent Publishers Association, which covers 12 states. New book from Bill Holm

Bill Holm's newest book has just been published by Milkweed Editions. Windows of Brimnes: An American in Iceland and Bill's Letter from Iceland, which appears in Stardust and Fate, are both portraits of his adopted summer home. Iceland also happens to be near the top of this publisher's Destination list.

Freya Manfred published by Red Dragonfly Press

Two great friends of Blueroad, Freya Manfred and Scott King of Red Dragonfly Press, have teamed up here to publish Freya's newest title, Swimming with a Hundred Year Old Snapping Turtle. This slim little volume is a treasure and simply stunning. Pick up a copy here.
